The St. Petersburg Men's Ensemble
On November 11 St. James sponsored a unique concert that was also a cultural exchange opportunity for the Southeastern Connecticut community. The men's quartet from St. Petersburg, Russia, was founded as an independent music ensemble in 2003. The group has regularly toured in the USA since its founding, performing across the country in churches and cultural centers. Their concerts reflect Russian culture and heritage and offer a balance of sacred and secular music by Russian composers and Russian folk songs.
